Hi! Pleasure to meet you, I'm Jean-Baptiste. I was born and raised here in Paris, where I've spent my whole life.
Since 2010, I've shown my city to thousands of visitors from all over the world.
With more than 8000 "flight hours" and close to 100,000 miles driven, I have the knowledge and experience to help you navigate the Parisian maze with ease.
Hop in my 2CV and open your eyes: the show is about to begin!
But first… what is a 2CV?
Meet my ride, "Number 1" a 2CV6 Club from 1985.
The 2CV was first designed in the 1930s (hence its art déco vibe) before the famous French manufacturer Citroën kicked off production in 1948.
It got its name from its engine, an air-cooled flat-twin cylinder (2 Cylinders or "2 Chevaux" in French).
This model was such a hit that production continued until 1991, with over 5 million units sold!
To this day, it's one of the most beloved cars in France (you'll notice this when people smile and nod at us throughout our journey).
Speaking of which… where are we going?
If the shortest path between two points is a straight line, the most fun is surely a little 2CV ride.
Hop on and buckle up, we're in for a trip!
Transfer I'll take you - or bring you back - wherever you want in Paris in 30 minutes (with style and ease).
Guided tours We'll navigate from the heights of Montmartre to the bustling heart of the Latin Quarter, from the smallest streets (where only 2CVs can fit) to the largest avenues, from hidden gems to the Eiffel Tower.
Better than a roller coaster, you'll have front-row seats to witness all the wonders of Parisian life in awe.
What's a tour like?
All my tours are custom-made. A two-minute briefing with you just before departure allows me to visualize and come up with the best possible tour.
Once our route is set, we dive into the history of Paris and its monuments. I'll share stories about every street, neighborhood, and building, point out where famous films were shot, and reveal hidden details that often go unnoticed.
We'll stop to take pictures, grab an ice cream, a coffee, or a croissant…
You'll get all my tips to make your stay unforgettable: where to eat, where to drink, what's trending in Paris (or elsewhere) right now (museums, shows, restaurants, cultural events…).
We wrap up the tour with a written test to check if you remember everything (we might need to take another tour if you don't!), and hopefully, you'll leave with wonderful memories.
In summary, a 2CV tour with parisbyjb means:
• The cutest and most popular of French cars.
• The feeling of being a star: everyone will smile and wave at you.
• Total immersion in Paris thanks to the car’s convertible roof.
• A wealth of memories with photos taken in the most beautiful settings.
• A grand narrative of Paris’s history, from the most famous facts to the lesser-known ones.
• A tailor-made tour, you choose what you want to see first and where the tour should stop.
• My recommendations on where to eat and drink, which museums to visit, and what activities to do during your stay.

But first… what is a 2CV?
1 - Where can we go?
Anywhere in Paris! The example itineraries shown on this website are there to help you visualize and understand the service I offer, but these itineraries are not mandatory.
For example: you want to book a one-hour tour and you want to visit Montmartre. I can take you there, show you around the neighborhood, and drop you off at the foot of the Sacré-Cœur.
Another example: you want to book a three-hour tour but you’ve already seen the Eiffel Tower, Montmartre, and the Champs-Élysées. We can skip those stops and focus on lesser-known neighborhoods: the 13th, 19th, and 20th arrondissements...
In summary, your tour is unique, optimized, and personalized according to your wishes.
2 - Can we stop during the tour?
Yes. Wherever and whenever you want, as many times as you wish. Of course, many stops can impact our itinerary and reduce the number of monuments we can visit within the allotted time. No worries, I’ll be there to let you know when we need to move on.
3 - Can we stand up in the car?
You can stand up as soon as the car is stopped to admire the view and take great souvenir photos. For obvious safety reasons, it is not possible to stand while we are driving!
4 - Where is the starting point?
I can pick you up anywhere within Paris city limits (arrondissements 1 to 20): at your hotel, in front of a restaurant or bar, near a monument...
5 - Where is the drop-off point?
I can drop you off wherever you want within Paris city limits (arrondissements 1 to 20): back at our starting point, at your hotel, at a restaurant, or elsewhere. You can let me know your drop-off point when booking, but it’s not mandatory: we can discuss it during the tour, and you can decide based on your inspiration.
6 - How many passengers can board?
My 2CV can accommodate a maximum of 3 people (including children). If there are more of you (up to 7), send me a message here, and I can organize a group tour with another vehicle.
7 - What are the best times for a tour?
Like any other major city, traffic in central Paris can sometimes be difficult. To avoid traffic jams and show you as much as possible, here are my recommendations:
Avoid
- rush hours (4 PM - 8 PM) from Monday to Friday.
- night tours (from 8 PM to midnight) every day of the week.
- Weekend mornings (8 AM - 1 PM)
- Holidays and public holidays (click here to check the 2024-2025 vacation calendar)
⚠ Booking a tour on the day of your arrival is an excellent way to start your discovery of Paris. You’ll get an overall view of the city, have plenty of images in your mind, and receive lots of information that will help you choose the neighborhoods, monuments, and places to focus on in the following days.
However, be cautious: make sure to allow for several hours of "buffer" time between the expected arrival of your flight or train and the start time of the tour. For example, if your flight lands at Charles de Gaulle at 6:00 PM and you’ve planned a tour at 9:00 PM, it’s likely that we’ll have to cancel due to delays and constraints beyond our control: flight delays, traffic jams, strikes, etc. Plan for a minimum of a five-hour gap to maximize your chances of getting into my 2CV on your first day!
8 - What are the prices?
For the year 2024/2025, the prices are as follows:
- Transfer: €50
- One hour: €100
- Two hours: €200
- Three hours: €300
The prices are always the same regardless of the day or time.
9 - Can we change the pick-up time and/or location?
You can change the pick-up location up to one hour before the start of the tour (for example, if the selected departure is at the Eiffel Tower at 2 PM, you have until 1 PM to inform me of a new location). After this time, I cannot guarantee to arrive on time, and the tour may be shortened by a few minutes. Changing the time is more difficult (I may have other tours scheduled before and after yours). Let me know via WhatsApp, and I’ll tell you if I have other options.
10 - Cancellation
You can cancel your tour by contacting me directly:
or by emailUp to 48 hours before the start of the tour, cancellation is free (you’ll get a 100% refund). After this time, the cancellation fee will be 50% of the tour price.
